Okay, Darrell, your marketing business is lit. How did you get started?
I started off at Clark Atlanta's business school and became a nightclub promoter for the undergrads. From there I threw hundreds of college-oriented events/parties. I grew my network and ended up in the 21+ market years later. With all the entertainment industry and nightclub experience, I used my social platform to create my marketing business, Tagger Marketing LLC where I worked with local businesses, night clubs, and local artists. A few years later I launched my t-shirt business, Taggs Custom prints LLC here in Atlanta which has been successful this year. 2019, I wanted to hit the pavement running, so I invested with my brother-
in-law into another company, Booth Mobb, a local photo booth company here in Atlanta!
You're truly leaving a legacy with branding your last name, what else makes your business different from other brands?
I provide world class customer service and I am true to my brand, building trust with consumers, and being confident that I am the best at what I do.
Having that trust and relationship with clients is super important in businesses! If you had the opportunity to work with any business, who would it be?
Coca-Cola and the NBA because basketball is my favorite sport and it would be a great opportunity. Lastly, I would also like to work with Roc Nation.
What advice would you like to give any other entrepreneurs trying to market their business and/or brand?
BE OPEN TO TALKING TO STRANGERS; IT'S OKAY TO FAIL AS LONG AS YOU TRY AGAIN, AND BE PATIENT BECAUSE YOU DON'T ALWAYS GET THINGS RIGHT OFF THE FIRST TRY.
